Opening hours

   ● The cave is open to the public according to the rules approved for every year by the Správa jeskyní ČR (Administration of Caves in the Czech Republic) and published on the website.
   ● The cave is open from January to March on working days by prior arrangements for groups.
   ● The cave is closed on Mondays except for July and August.
   ● If Monday is a bank holiday the cave is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., in July from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
   ● The tour takes approximately 30 minutes.
   ● The cave may be completely or partly closed if required for safety or other serious reasons. In case of a longer 
     closing the public will be informed by a notice displayed near the cave, a press announcement or in another suitable way.
   ● The times of the individual cave tours are organized according to the number of visitors, the tour language and the capabilities
     of the Cave Administration.
 

Organization of Cave Tours  

   ● Groups can visit the cave in accordance with the Visitor Rules on a certain day and time by prior arrangements. Shall
     the group fail to present itself at least 10 minutes before the reserved time at the cash desk it will loose its right to the priority cave tour.
   ● Parking of motor vehicles including buses is allowed in designated parking spaces only.
   ● The entrance fee is payable in advance, the amount of the fee and discounts are stipulated in Annex to the Visitor Rules.
   ● The tickets are valid for one visit only, purchased tickets can not be returned.
   ● Children of the age of 6 and under must be reported at the ticket purchase (registration of persons underground).
   ● Photography and filming in the cave is possible with a paid permit only.
   ● Entrance to the cave is organized by the Guide according to the Operation Controller's instructions.
   ● The temperature in the cave is around 80C; we recommend that you wear warm clothes.
 

The Cave Tour 

   ● The cave tour takes approximately 30 minutes, the minimum number of visitors in one group is 1 person, the maximum is 25 persons.
   ● Entrance to the cave without the Guide is strictly forbidden.
   ● School groups and company or tourist agency groups must be accompanied also by their heads.
   ● If the Cave Administration does not have a Guide available with language skills required for a foreign group the group head will be obliged to inform
     the group about behaviour and obligations which result from these Visitor Rules.
   ● The visitors are obliged to obey the Guide's instructions during the visit and not to disturb his/her presentation.
   ● The visitors are obliged to behave with increased caution during the whole tour, in particular on stairways and in narrow or low sections,
     hold onto rails and follow the Guide's advice.
   ● The visitors with the photography or filming permit can not move away from the group, detain the visit and 
     restrict other visitors.
  ● In any unexpected event (e.g. power outage) the visitors must keep in place, stay calm and follow the Guide's instructions.
   ● The visitors are obliged to report any injury or indisposition during the tour immediately to the Guide who will ensure relevant treatment.
 

Protection of Nature and Cave Equipment  

It is forbidden in the cave

   ● To touch, break or otherwise damage the stalactite and sinter decorations and the walls of the cave;
   ● To enter into spaces outside the tour footpath and move away from the guided group;
   ● To touch electric or safety equipment;
   ● To write and paint on the walls and karst formations;
   ● To smoke, eat, drink and litter or otherwise soil the cave;
   ● To bring to the cave large luggage, sport equipment, hiking poles, tripods, umbrellas, etc.;
   ● To take to the cave dogs or other animals and disturb bats;
   ● To enter with a pram.
 

Entrance to the cave is forbidden to  

   ● Drunk persons;
   ● Children under 10 not accompanied by an adult person.
 
THE CAVES ARE A PART OF A SPECIALLY PROTECTED AREA PURSUANT TO THE LAW OF THE CZECH NATIONAL COUNCIL NO. 114/92, ON NATURE AND LANDSCAPE PROTECTION AND THEREFORE ALL VISITORS ARE OBLIGED TO RESPECT ALL CONDITIONS OF PROTECTION ABOVE GROUND AS WELL AS UNDERGROUND, NOT TO DAMAGE THE NATURAL PHENOMENA (ROCK FORMATIONS, TIMBER SPECIES, PLANTS ...) AND TO TRAVEL ONLY ON PUBLICLY ACCESSIBLE COMMUNICATIONS. VIOLATION OF PROTECTION OR DAMAGE TO SPECIALLY PROTECTED PARTS OF NATURE IS SUBJECT TO THE FINE OF UP TO CZK 50,000.

Final Provisions

   ● Failure to adhere to these Rules may lead to early termination of the cave visit without reimbursement of the entrance fee.
   ● In case of a serious violation of the Visitor Rules (in particular in case of damage to any decorations) there will be an offence proceeding or criminal prosecutions opened against the offender. 
   ● The visitors can express their requests, recognitions, remarks or complaints in writing in the Book of Requests and Complaints which is available on request
      at the cash desk.
